“Student-Faculty Shop Training Information” –  All Student-Faculty Shop users are required to complete formal training for any equipment they intend to use. To initiate the training, the prospective users should print a copy of the: Student Advisory/Safety Rules & S.O.P.’s [and] Student-Faculty Sign Up Sheet (see links below). The material should be reviewed in full. All prospective users will be tested on the material prior to the training. Please fill out the forms completely prior to coming to your scheduled training appointment time. Complete training for all of the machines will usually take 1½ – 2 hours for a group of 5 trainees. All MAE students or students enrolled in MAE courses should contact Jose Sanchez (sanchez@seas.ucla.edu) to schedule a training session.
